About This Visit:
This comprehensive appointment is designed for patients requiring an in-depth, dual-specialty physical evaluation to address complex musculoskeletal, spine, or nerve-related conditions. Please arrive 15 minutes early and, if possible, bring any past imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT scans), lab diagnostics, as well as your your current medication list. If you cannot, we can requisition the reports on your behalf.
What the Evaluation Includes:
- Detailed Clinical History: A deep dive into your chief complaint, injury mechanisms, symptom timelines, pain characteristics, and past medical/surgical background. This may include mulitiple injury areas given that many issues are interconnected.
- Full Orthopedic Examination: Physical inspection, localized palpation, joint-by-joint Range of Motion (ROM) tracking, and specific orthopedic provocative maneuvers to pinpoint structural issues.
- Comprehensive Neurological Exam as required: eg, Complete testing of cranial nerves, motor strength grading, deep tendon reflexes (DTRs), sensory mapping (light touch/pinprick), and balance/gait analysis.
- Clinical Report & Action Plan: A synthesis of our clinical findings, diagnostic impressions, and a customized treatment roadmap (which may include physical rehabilitation, chiropractic, myofascial release and further advanced imaging orders, or specialist referrals).
